Would this be inside trading?

The stock price of our company soared this morning because of the Q3 report.

Of course I knew nothing about this before the announcement. But looking back, I see traces here and there within the company that the strict cost control is gone now. For example, the once eliminated paper cups in kitchen are suddenly back. For another, the taste of free pizzas at meetings are getting better Open-mouthed

. Above all, the company is hiring again.

So here is the question: Had I bought shares of our company based on these 'traces' a week ago, would it be inside trading?

My answer is no. I should have used the non-material nonpublic information.
